about some things

random things about me. loraine tagged me. on monday i will post the people i’ve tagged.

i’m very particular about magazines. i take one from the back of the pile and don’t crease the pages.

my favorite pair of jeans ever was a pair of black skinny cords by earl jeans.

i once bought a pair of gucci shoes that i never wore because i couldn’t walk in them.

i taught myself to knit last year to make a hat like any of these.

i’m cree.

one of the best decisions i ever made was to nurse my children.

i’ve learned to like a cup of tea, but i’m a coffee lover at heart. i take my coffee black with one sugar. cigarettes used to be a part of the ritual, but no longer. here are two flickr favorites, and one of my own.

it’s amazing to me, after living in places like hawaii and california, that one can go to a stretch of beach in scotland, and on a windy day, no one is around. paradise found.

the second one is taken in our back yard. my daughter is sitting on a 1920’s wrought iron and wood bench, which i love.

i grew up in canada, lived in both california and hawaii, and now find myself at home in scotland.
